Comprehensive Renovation of 50 units, common rooms, offices, and corridors at the Capitol Station senior housing facility

Project Assignment:

• Prepare design and construction documents for the comprehensive renovation of 50 units within the building at the Capitol Station site.
• Provide construction administration throughout the renovation process. Working alongside the General Contractor and Owner to provide the best finished product. 

Assignment Details:

The overall goal was to comprehensively renovate the entire interior within the senior citizen facility, as well as improve accessibility compliance and unit layouts.

CHS began the process by inspecting all of the interior and exterior building conditions. A preliminary scope of work and cost estimate was then presented to the owner for review.

CHS then completed a full set of contract documents (specifications and drawings) for the project. The owner worked with a general contractor to accurately bid the project. 

CHS then approved submittals, provided feedback to the GC, and oversaw the construction process to ensure a accurate and finished end product.
