Design Philosophy
Creative Housing Solutions believes that architecture is both an art and a strict science. As an art, architecture demands sensitivity to the visual world and a person’s perception of their environment through sight, sound and touch.
As a science, architecture requires physical surroundings that are safe, efficient and durable. In general, CHS believes that “good residential design is required for a high quality of life, positive attitude and a sense of community.”
Creative Housing Solutions’ History
CHS was founded in 1994 by Donald L. Dudrow, Jr. as an architecture and consulting firm specializing in affordable housing development and renovation for both the public and private sectors. We offer a variety of services to our clients to support their affordable and public housing endeavors.
The CHS team is comprised of individuals that have extensive background in public and private affordable housing. It is this combination of experience and focus that sets CHS above all other firms.
Because CHS is a small A/E firm, the client receives the personal attention of the principals. We believe that this allows CHS to be very responsive to our client’s needs. Also, because CHS staff are licensed architects and design professionals, we believe we are able to provide consistent and quality services for both design and consulting projects.
Since 1994 CHS has provided services to numerous public housing agencies throughout the Country. In addition; state, county and city agencies have relied on CHS to provide technical expertise for their housing related needs.
CHS is licensed to practice Architecture in multiple states and U.S. Virgin Islands.
